Lloyd Kahn sent over a cool picture he took in Thailand. It shows a VW van converted into upscale street bar in Bangkok. It's part of his collection of the diverse ways people around the world create shelter.

these VW bars are quite popular in Thailand, they're not there during the day and just park up at night... The one I visited in Kho San Road actually parked up in a Petrol Station that closed at night. They put tables out around the van and people sit and drink and have fun in a Petrol Sation, the only worry was people were smoking too !
