Pipe Cutter
Can you help me find this tool? It has no number on it. I used to use it on 1/2-inch polypropylene and schedule 40 pipe. It cuts pipe very easily.

A cool tool is anything useful that is superior to comparable items. If you think this tool is inferior suggest a better one. You are welcome to insult a tool, but comments containing insults to individual people will be deleted. Corrections of fact are always welcomed, if stated politely. Recommendations of better tools are dearly wanted and may be elevated to the front page.

It's just a generic pipe-cutting tool. You can get similar items for under $15.

Here is another source for a selection of German-made Rothenberger plastic pipe shears:

Additionally, how about their brand-new minimalist "PlastiCut" version:

A few years ago the large irrigation plumbing suppliers used to give those away with a large order of pipe. You might check with one of them.

the logo looks like "j line co". as far as i can tell, they manufactured water pumps. however it appears they have been absorbed by another concern.
if the cutter was a gimmee from an irrigation supplier, that might make sense.
