Muck Boots Jobber Work Boot

These pull-on rubber boots are made more like a wet suit than a standard rubber boot. The bottom shoe part is semi-firm and waterproof and the high part is somewhat porous like a wet suit. If you are a scuba diver, picture the wetsuit booties with a firmer shoe part. They are really comfortable and very easy to pull on and off. If you don't go in water over your ankles, they keep your feet dry. The porous uppers mean your feet don't get clammy and stink. They make doing chores on a wet day so much better. They are so comfortable I think I could hike in them, although I have not tried it.

I have and love a pair of Muck Boots Hoser boots. Like the Jobber, they have the firm rubber bottom 'shoe' part but the stretchy wet-suit material extends up to the mid-calf. This makes them both comfy and really easy to slip on and off. There's no fuss - just pull on and go. Also, the insole is removable (a plus for people like me who have orthotic inserts).
I use them to keep my feet warm and dry in wet, muddy, dirty, slushy, snowy conditions. Like any closed footwear they can be a tad hot in the middle of the summer, but for cooler temps they are fine. They are not super-insulated, so I wear one or two thick warm (preferably wool) socks in very cold conditions or if I'm using them a long time out in the snow.
I have hiked in them, but mostly I use them as my regular winter boots. They're not fancy but they work! They're completely waterproof, so I never have to worry about walking through slush or mud puddles. These are practical, comfortable, reliable boots - go get yourself a pair!
Muck Boots
Muck Boots are impervious to water, so they won’t breakdown like leather when wet. When the mud sticks to the bottom and sides of the boots, there’s no need to knock them together or against a wall to try and rid the mud or muck. Water and some water pressure will remove any mud that does adhere. Just let them air dry and they are as good as new.
