The Buddha Machine

The Buddha Machine is a hardware loop player, built kind of like a little AM radio, a small device for producing ambient sounds.
My son, 12 years old, made a small flash presentation of this device just for fun :)

[Intrigued by this succinct summary, I went digging and found some oddly lyrical reviews of the Buddha Machine. Its nine variants of "soothing" electronic ambient sound--perhaps better described as ambient music--fade from one to the next. A line output allows connection to a stereo system. Supposedly Brian Eno bought eight of them. --CP]

Here is the translation of the diagrams, from the to, clock-wise (they don’t all make sense and certainly does not describe the machine).
翅部 – Wing Area – as in Wing from a bird
事倍功半 – Twice the Output, Half the Effort – it’s a common Chinese saying, but not appropriate to describe 2 AA batteries.
路喂 – Road “Hi” – first character means Road, second character is common way to say hello over the phone, together they do not describe circuits
願望 – Desire/Hope/Wish – doesn’t mean plastic outer shell
心 – Heart – ok the Buddha, I get it
X裁 – don’t know if that first character is even a word, but the second one means to get rid of, as commonly used in laying off people (裁員)

Do you not think perhaps the labels are intended to be a lighthearted joke? ;) Thanks for the translation though.
