Japanese Tiger Paw/Pry Bar

Small enough to fit in your tool bag. The flared end gets thinner and thinner towards the edge and is great for removing base trim with minimal damage. It is also a scraper and a wedge. The nail puller is orientated 90 degrees to the pry bar. Women in the trades really like them because they are strong and lightweight. As a do-it-yourselfer and a woman, smaller smart tools like this one get my attention.

My local lumberyard started carrying these six years ago. Totally the best trim remover you will ever find. The wide blade is very thin and very strong. It slides behind wood molding and the wide edge spreads the force such that as long as you are careful to orient it cross grain, plenty of leverage can be applied without splitting the wood.

Multi-purpose tool for upholstery!

Great for clearing crevices, rolls in backer rod for those perfect weathertight caulk jobs.
