Drain King

Brilliant invention for clearing clogged drains without caustic chemicals. Comes in different sizes for different drain diameters. You attach it to a hose, and say for the kitchen sink, take off the p-trap, and slide the hose down the drain pipe as far as it will go. You then turn on the hose and it builds up pressure inside the wedged bellows to the point where it releases in a burst, expanding and contracting, ka-chunk, ka-chunk . . . You can clear one obstruction and then push the hose further to get to others. It really unclogs crap. Marveloso!

I had a sewer line plugged from material ground up by a garburator. The Drain King unclogged the line in less that five minutes. This is after playing around with a 25 foot plumping snakes and chemicals for a full day and not being able to clear the blockage. There was no mess or fuss. All I did is hook it up to a garden hose and insert it into the clean out port on the waste line. I am so pleased with this device, but I am sorry I didn't know about it before I bought snakes and chemicals. It is worth every penny of its price.

For those of you that are wondering about what size to get, I used the 1 1/2" to 3" size in a 1 1/2 inside diameter pipe. It easily fit into a 90 degree clean out port.

Thank you G.T. Water Products, the Drain King is a great product.

I have a question and can not find another site to ask it without being rejected. I have a drain king model # 186. I want to know if it is safe to use in PVC schedule 40 piping?

Thank you

Pretty sure it's safe Dick, the PVC pipe can handle a lot more pressure than the drain king generates.
And if I'm wrong it's not all bad, if you have to hire a plumber and maybe a concrete guy to fix the damage we can just say it''s an economic stimulus package. Isn't that what the gub'mint calls it when they throw money down the drain?
