Jeweler Screwdrivers

Probably the most used tool in my office is a set of tiny screwdrivers sometimes sold as precision screwdrivers. Hardly a week goes by when they aren't needed to disassemble or repair a gizmo or tool.

Even better than the familiar red cased six pack are the kits you can get now (try auto-parts stores, for some reason) with a (sometimes ratcheting) handle & assortment of removable micro-bits. Make sure you get Torx, wing & double-prong bits along with the regular Philips & slot if you're interested in opening up micro-electronics. The case will be a bit wider, but usually just as flat, to fit in the center desk drawer.
