Self-Tracking Resource Page

Kevin Kelly

We have posted a page of self-tracking resources and links. You can find it right here. It's pretty basic. If you know of a resource that is missing, let the list-makers know.

This list would be 100 times better if there were a line or two annotation for each link, and maybe even a catagorized version.  We are looking for a volunteer, or two, to add some notation. Would anyone like to tackle this list?

We are also looking for a volunteer to take the pile of videos we have uploaded of the previous Quantified Self Meetups and embed them into this blog. Again  with a sentence of introduction.

Let me or Gary know if you are interested.

Hey Kevin, I think the link you were meaning to post is: http://www.kk.org/quantifiedself/qs-resource-links.php

I’m happy to help categorize/describe - is the Google Doc the best place to do this?

Happy Holidays! Alex

Thanks Alex! Yes, edit on the Google doc and we will regularly re-post to the blog. Others who want to help can just ask for an invite, and get access. It’s sort of a “semi-wiki” approach. Not open to the world, as we don’t want to manage moderation hassles, but open to any interested folks who are reading the blog and want to help.

I have some time and could work on this; can I get access to the Google Doc? My gmail address is blodulv@gmail.com.

Hey,

I would like to contribute to the Google Doc if possible. I would also suggest setting up a wiki, which would allow users to post reviews/tips/suggestions regarding any of the tools that they have used. I imagine there are wiki frameworks that are easy to set up, and if you are worried about moderating, you could make it Read-only for non-members.

I am no expert, but I have some mild web design experience, and wouldn’t mind looking into this if there is any interest.
