Hulda Emilsdottir and Josh Klein on Tracking Possessions

Gary Wolf

In this inspiring talk from the recent New York City QS Show&Tell Hulda Emilsdottir and Josh Klein talk about the system Hulda developed to analyze their relationship to their possessions, and then about another system Hulda made for buying clothes based on seasonal usefulness, care-requirements, and compatibility with her other clothes.

Hello, Though I’m only a casual reader of KK’s QS blog, this seemed like a good opportunity for a first comment.

When Hulda and Josh talk about their system, I’m interested. When they talk about combining it with RFID tags, I am enthused. As Hulda mentions, the barrier is the price of RFID tags.

I’m no expert in the technology, but I’m very interested in personal use RFID tracking systems. If there is anyone else out there who would also like to see this become a reality, it would be great if we could use the internet to organize ourselves and attract the attention of an innovative company. If you are interested in starting a group or already have started a group that I can join, please e-mail me at svaxenwolf@gmail.com.

Have a good one, Steve
